Hello Glen Innes school I'm guessing you should know who I am. But for all those who don't know me yet, my name is Usain Bolt and I'm from jamaica also I am the fastest man in the world. if you saw my race at the Olympics in 2012 at London I got the record for the 100m men sprints.

By the way when I was a kid like you guys my family was very broke I always had to go school with no shoes and lunch. I continually thought I was going to be a professional soccer player but as I got older I started to think twice about being a professional soccer player. The reason why I thought twice was because ever since I was 13 years old I was the fastest boy in my entire school. As I got older my fastness and fitness got better and better so that's when I started to forget soccer and focused on being a sprinter to represent Jamaica in the Olympics.

In addition when the 100m sprints trials was on a lot of men showed up to trial and that’s when I thought I wasn't going to make it. But at the end they called names out and my name were one of them, when they told us we made it. My family was very happy proud of me because the way I grew up was not looking good.

In conclusion if you like playing sports or if you're good at playing sports don’t always focus on one sport try new things then you're properly find the correct talent for you.

Secondhand Smoking

TITLE: Secondhand smoking is harmful to.

Imagine that smoking did not exist, that will be a really peaceful world. As you can see that’s why I’m here today to talk to you about secondhand smoking just about the same as smoking but 2 times worst. Kia ora my name is Kaufana and ever since 1865 to 2016 smoking has still been all over the world.

Do you really want people still smoking around the world because in 2014 about 1 billion people were smokers, which is nearly 20% of the world. So if you see people smoking please don’t be shy about telling them not to smoke around kids  neither don't be shy telling them to quit smoking because if you don’t you're letting the world down.

In my opinion I think secondhand smoking is dangerous to anyone who breathes it in especially kids. For example imagine a classroom full of preschoolers and a teacher smoking inside with no care about the young ones. What if you were one of them would you feel OK with that. Beside this is another way to die in your early ages. As evidence, one of my family members has been threw almost dying in his early ages because of smoking.

That is why I need you guys to tell people to quit smoking, what do you think? Do you guys agree because if you don't you are making a huge mistake not only that it’s because you are letting us down.This is probably the only way I could help by stopping people to smoke. According to CDC, secondhand smoking harms children and adults and the only way to fully protect nonsmokers is to eliminate smoking in all homes, work sites, and public places.

In the past years my step dad has finally stopped smoking because of the sickness he went threw and now he is trying his best to stop his own friends from smoking not only that he saves

more money than before.

In conclusion when you grow up please don’t secondhand smoke in front of your kids or your family because if you do there is more chance of you dying in your early ages.

Caring for planet earth

Caring for planet Earth is very important the first thing is to always recycle. Recycling is just like reuse but it is different. To recycle you have to not wasted paper it is one of  the best ways to keep Earth clean. In our school we put the milk boxes in a recycling blue bin then it goes into a truck and takes it and use it. When our school puts our fruit skin in the bin the worms come and eats it.

Reuse is when you use it more than once. Just like when we puts paper in the recycling bin then a big truck comes and take it and use it by making toilet paper or different things it is very responsibly to not wasted.

Reduce is like making smaller or less things reduce is just like planting things if there were no trees on earth there will be no oxygen and everyone on Earth will die so this is why you need to reduce.

Recycle,reuse and reduce is very important and responsibly to use on earth because if we don't do those three things some of the people on Earth will die.

There are lots of things I do before I come to school. When I wake up for school the first thing I do is walk to the bathroom and have a shower after my

shower I brush my teeth and I wash my face. Next I put my uniform on and make my lunch. When I have finished making my lunch I put my shoes on and say goodbye to my mum and walk to school.

Brushing your teeth is very important because you could get infections in your teeth. To look after your teeth you have to brush your teeth every day and floss them every day. To look after your teeth you need a colgate and a perfect size toothbrush for your teeth.

When you brush your upper teeth the first thing to do is scrub and sweep to the end of your teeth. After that you have to scrub and sweep on the lower draw. When you have done that you have clean teeth and fresh breath.

Today we were learning how to ride a bike and how to stay safe on a bike.

The first thing we learned today was what to wear next was to check if your

bike was working well. After that james showed us what should we wear

and it was are bright vest, shoes covering your toes and a helmet.

When we finished checking what to wear james got his bike and told us where was the important gare on your bike to check the first gare was the brakes next was the 3 bolts. After that we put on our helmets and went outside with james when I was riding my bike I did not know how to brake

very good but when james told me how to brake I was conthuble and happy. At the end of the day we got an safety reflector it was very fun.

Hi I am a Boy  10 years old.  My name is Kaufana.  I live in the nozie suburb of Glen Innes , in Auckland, New Zealand.  I go to the Glen innes School in our area called Glen innes I am proud of my green and black uniform and wear it daily to school.

I have brown eyes, and ,short hair.  Sometimes I colour my hair

The things I like doing at school are sport , maths , reading , and writing  .Going swimming everyday is soooo cool.   I also love writing and updating my blog every week.. It is cool to see so many people from all over the world reading my writing.

Like all the students in my class, I like food.  I enjoy eating KFC, Wendy , .Pizza , Lollies , and Mcdonalds, but my favourite is butter chicken .

I have many friends at school too.  In school we get together to play touch , rugby , ,tennis  I love playing with my best friend, sete  Sometime we get together after school for a game of rugby
