If the Zoo designer game is to hard try this game because I think it’s more simple.  This game can help you by knowing your areas and perimeters  just like the game Zoo designer but more simple so if you need help this is the game to play. But if you don’t know your multiplication of by heart this will be a real struggle for you.  So I think before you play this game learn your multiplication of by heart. Today in maths I played this very fun maths game called caterpillar slider. This game can help you by putting numbers in order, smallest to biggest. If you're not really good with ordering smallest to biggest, play  this game because it can help you alot.  When I played this game I got a couple of them wrong but when I kept practicing and went back to the game I got all of them right I was so happy and determined. Today I played this game called Polygon, it was very easy because I  learned a lot about it. Today in the morning I played this game called Equivalent fractions. What I learned from it is how to solve  Equivalent fractions, it was quite challenging but I got the hang of it. Math Hoops 11/3/16

This morning in room 7 I played this game called Math Hoops. I got 10 out of 10 it was quite easy because I tried my hardest to get 10 out of 10. GI Zoo Prices         Adult:              $14                                             Child under 12 : #

1. It cost the Naidoo family of 2 adults and 3 children $61 to go to the zoo. What is the missing price on the board?

14 x 2 = 28

28 + 33 = 61

33 divided by 3 = $11 for each children

2. For 4 days of the week the zoo has a concession for schools. $10 each for the first 100 children and then $12 each for the others. What would a school pay if there are 127 children?

10 x 100 = 1000

12 x 27 = 324

1000 + 324= 1324

3. On a Friday evening the zoo has a special rate for school children:for every paid 7 children 2 get to go in free. What would it cost a school with 147 children?

147 divided by 9 = 16 r3

11 x 3 = 33

16 x 7 = 122

12 x 11 = 1232

1232 + 33 = 1265

Today I played a mathelitics game called speed skills and it was kind of challenging. The first time I played it I struggled, but after few attempts I got the hang of it. There was a lot of pressure on the game because you only had 1 minute. The way to play this game is you have to answer as much questions as you can until the time is over.

Maths Week 3

In week 3 we have been learning about multiplication, measuring, Geometry and additions for maths. When I had my basic facts test I focused and took my time and at the end of the test I saw my results and it was good I was so proud of myself because I focus at class and I don't mark around. So when the P.A.T test comes I'm going to focus and try hard.



I think I have learned a lot of maths and also I think i'm working hard. If you want to learn a lot about maths then go on khan academy and it will tell you a lot of things about maths last but not least watch a lot of videos about maths that will push you to improve in your maths.

Problem Solving

Last week we have been solving problems with our math strategies. The three question I finished was pretty hard but I still finished it with a little bit of help. The next questions were easy because I knew them. Next I want problems like fractions and multiplication so that I can better scores on my test.

Brainie

Today I was playing a Game called Brainie in math class. To play this game you need to add the numbers on the side. Also there is a clock which you will have to be fast at adding and subtracting the numbers. When you have finished you can check your score. I think this game helps you at addition. I think if you play this game it will really help you on your fraction. So to play this game there will be shapes and numbers. If the shapes have 1/2 colored and there is are 1 and are half number you will have to click the same fractions. If you click the wrong fraction you will have to try again. This game is called junk pile it is  played on sumdog.
I like this game because it helps me with my maths and because it is fun and cool to play. In this game there will be a question on top. If you pick the right answer you have to drag it to your ground after that you will have to put your other equipment on top of the other equipment until it gets higher and higher. But sometimes all of your equipment will fall down also if you get it wrong there will be a red X.

Today I was playing fraction monkey. This game is very cool because it helps you with your fractions. To play this game there will be a monkey down at the bottom with a fraction. What I learned today for maths

I learnt Statistics, leaf grath and about our poses when we were learning about

poses we had to run around the field 2 times. Then we had to come back inside

and count our poses for 1 minute. Next we had to skip for 1 minute after that we

went back inside and count our poses again. When we finished counting our

poses we had to say our number to miss barry one by one.
