WALT: Write a narrative story using a picture prompt.

SUCCESS CRITERIA

Early in the morning cleaning my dirty garden I hear my dog Speedstar barking, “whof, whof, whof,.” When I turned I stared at him and he was doing all sorts of impressive moves. It looked wonderful and scary. After that I told him to come and I said to him that we were going to buy another dog so that you can play with. He was happy and excited so he went crazy and jumping around.

When it was the next day I got up early in the morning and cleaned the garden again, I turned to look for Speedstar my dog but I couldn't find him. When I went to the backyard I saw him flying in the air I was shocked my face started to blush. In addition when he landed to the ground I ran to him and gave him a huge hug.While I was talking to him I told him where did he get his flying moves from he didn't reply. So I said to him to go do it again but when he did he failed and fell down he was badly hurt so I ran to call the vet. Before that I told him he will be okay.

In a few months later my dog came back and he was happy. When he saw me he ran as fast as he could to get to me. Straight after that I gave him a huge hug. The moral for this story is to always keep your dog safe and that they may always have fun with you. Thank you very much for listening/reading I really hope you learned something.

As I was walking towards my room I got lazier and lazier, it just felt like I was about to faint.

When I open my door I was so shocked because somehow my room got filthy. It had stinky socks, spiders in every corner on the ceiling,dirty clothes lying around and toys every where.

I was so upset because I was really in a tired/lazy mood. Straight after that I ran to my mum and asked her how my room got untidy, she was just minding her own business and carried on with her Facebook. In addition I went back to my room, all of a sudden I saw my sister's toys lying around, so that gave me a clue.

After that I sneaked to her room and slowly opened her door when I saw her she tried to fake sleep, but I just caught her.  When I was waking her up she wouldn't wake up, so I just tickled her then she giggled and giggled. While we were talking I asked her if she was the one who made my room grimy, all of a sudden she didn't reply so I asked again and she still didn't reply.

When I heard my dad arrived I rushed to him to tell him to tell him. What happen next my sister grabbed me by the shirt and told me to not tell dad and if you don’t i’ll clean your room she said.

So I was so surprised when I told her to clean the room and if she doesn't I would have told my dad. She was furious but she had ended up cleaning the room. At the end of her cleaning she told me to close my eyes and follow her, in that moment I felt shocked. When I got there she told me to open my eye’s when She is finish counting up to 10. So she started 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 SURPRISE she said . I looked around and it looked fabulous I gave her a huge hug and I said thank you.     

WW1 3 sententces

This week Room 12 and I have been writing about this picture. When our class was writing about this picture the first thing we had to do is write three sentences about this picture. After we chose our three words we had to write three powerful sentences. When these men went to war they got shot and some got blown up from grenades. Men suffered and died. The men who were in World War One missed their family and their wife. I think all the men who went to World War One for New Zealand were brave men and heroes.
